The Association of Reporting Accountants and Auditors in the Capital Market(ARAACAM) is an association established at the instance of the Securities and Exchange Commission to promote the practice of reporting accountancy and audit in the Capital Market and to protect members’ interest, bound by high professional standards and ethics. One of the major objectives of the association is to promote and advance the profession and role of Reporting Accountants and Auditors in enhancing the integrity of the capital market, as well as the training and education of Reporting Accountants and Auditors on latest developments in the field of financial reporting. The Association comprises of professional accounting firms registered with SEC. It is required that every registered professional accounting firm with SEC be a member of the Association.
